Process Variables

There are settings we have to do across our TilliT account to create a vocabulary for our digital factory. As seen in Definitions, Process Variables play an important role and the configuration section is where you will set this.

The Process Variable represents the measured value or parameter of a particular part of a process that is being monitored and controlled. List the relevant process variables and think about how things are stored, and measured, recipe settings, limits , design parameters etc. Next, think about what their Unit of Measure is e.g litres, Degrees Celsius, carton etc.

For example: temperature in Celsius degrees and batch size in litres.
