# H1 2026 Update Highlights

## TilliT H1 2026 Highlights

What a first half of the year it has been. From smarter scheduling to AI-powered operator guidance, the TilliT team has shipped a wave of features designed to give your teams more clarity, more control, and more confidence on the floor. Here are our top 10 highlights from H1 2026.

## AI Activity Assistant - Real-Time Guidance, Right Where You Need It

TilliT's new Activity Assistant brings AI-powered guidance directly into your activity forms. Powered by knowledge of your current order, activity structure, and asset information, the Assistant answers operator questions in real time, helping your team complete activities accurately and efficiently without leaving the workflow.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/hJCmazvwgpv1ZxPwohUX" alt="" width="411"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Whether it's clarifying a step, surfacing a relevant procedure, or drawing on Asset Articles you've uploaded to the Knowledge Base, the Activity Assistant reduces guesswork and supports consistent execution across shifts. It's the kind of smart, contextual help that operators actually use!

## OEE, OOE & TEEP - Full KPI Coverage for Every Asset

TilliT now calculates three industry-standard performance metrics — OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), OOE (Overall Operations Effectiveness), and TEEP (Total Effective Equipment Performance) — across all assets.&#x20;

Each asset can carry up to three KPI configurations, and you can choose which metric surfaces on the order card, giving different stakeholders the view most relevant to them.&#x20;

## Scheduler - Order Dependencies, Live Orders & Visual Clarity

The Scheduler has received some of its most meaningful upgrades yet in H1. You can now **add new orders directly to a Live Scenario**, making it easier to respond to real-world changes without rebuilding your schedule from scratch.&#x20;

**Order dependency visualisation** lets you see at a glance which orders are linked, reducing the risk of sequencing errors.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/mcvpVUle8XqTg4gMcxZ1" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Visual improvements round out the update: downtime periods now display with a distinct striped pattern (clearly separate from regular shift unavailability), the order progress bar has been redesigned with light green for actual progress, dark green for target rate, and yellow tails to flag delays.

## Start & Complete Activities from a QR Code

The new Quick-Start Activity feature collapses activity creation and submission into a single, seamless step. Operators scan a QR code and land directly on a pre-populated activity form, the right form, for the right activity type and asset, with no manual selection required.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/iiHN1IgJuXua1NkKdU4c" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This is a meaningful time-saver on the floor, particularly for high-frequency or time-sensitive activities where every second counts. It also reduces the risk of operators selecting the wrong activity type, improving data quality at the source. QR codes can be printed and placed directly on assets or workstations, making the experience intuitive even for new or occasional users.

## Asset Articles - Contextual Knowledge, Surfaced at the Right Moment

Asset Articles let you attach knowledge directly to specific assets, so the right information is always one tap away. A single article can be linked to multiple assets, making it easy to maintain and reuse documentation across your operation.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/rlynLKkmWDs7WdOt7k2I" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

When uploading an Asset Article, you can add it to the Knowledge Base, making it available to the Activity Assistant

&#x20;to draw on when answering operator questions. The result is a tighter loop between your documented procedures and the people executing them, reducing reliance on institutional memory and helping new team members get up to speed faster.

## Control Order Lifecycle with Activity Gates&#x20;

A powerful new capability for ensuring process compliance: the **"Required Before Order Action"** field on Activity Templates means an order cannot proceed to a defined lifecycle action such as Start or Suspend while a required activity form is still active.&#x20;

This gives operations managers a reliable mechanism to enforce critical checks before production moves forward, without relying on manual oversight.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/H2ksanXCs3N71GbUF1Jj" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Paired with the new **Comments Required** control (which lets you make comments mandatory on failure, always, or never), teams now have far more granular control over how activities are completed and documented.

## Repeatable Sections - Flexible Data Capture for Unknown Quantities

A practical and much-requested improvement to activity forms: the new **Section Repeat** item type automatically creates a fresh copy of a section once the previous one has been correctly filled out.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/p9ozJ5kOCkc6JnEgNHlb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This is ideal for inspections, quality checks, or any workflow where the number of entries isn't known upfront - think batch sampling, multi-item receiving, or recurring checks across a shift. Instead of building separate activities for each potential entry or forcing operators to open multiple forms, Section Repeat keeps everything in one place and scales to the work at hand.&#x20;

It's a small change in configuration that can significantly reduce friction for operators on the floor! See more [here](https://help.tillit.cloud/tillit/knowledge-base/everyday-usage/activities/repeatable-entry-section#overview)!

## TilliT Excel Add-in V2

The redesigned TilliT Excel Add-in V2 brings a significantly improved experience for loading, editing, and uploading TilliT data directly within Microsoft Excel.&#x20;

Supporting both Excel Online and Excel Desktop, and available across Production and Stage environments, the Add-in makes it easier than ever for teams who live in spreadsheets to stay connected to TilliT data without switching context.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/n5Lvdl0AeItBFvcHoSx8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Whether you're reviewing production records, updating order information, or preparing reports, V2 delivers a smoother, more reliable integration that meets your team where they already work.

## Edge Datasource Templates - Eliminate Repetitive Tag Configuration

For teams managing large numbers of assets with similar data structures, the new **Edge Datasource Template** feature is a significant time-saver.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/nraWluAwbD28QJSRZ5AS" alt="" width="388"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Just define a template once — including pattern variables like `{{assetName}}` and `{{siteName}}`, or any custom asset and site attributes, then assign it to an asset and datasource to automatically generate all required data tags.&#x20;

<figure><img src="/files/PnDaiMsbQ5mhvmq9PNkG" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

What previously required repetitive manual configuration across dozens or hundreds of assets can now be done in a fraction of the time, with far less risk of inconsistency. It's a meaningful quality-of-life improvement for integration teams setting up or scaling TilliT deployments.

## Configurable Asset Status Colours

A feature that sounds simple but makes a real difference on the production floor: you can now configure your own asset statuses and assign custom colours to each.&#x20;

At a glance, operators and supervisors can read the state of the floor in a way that reflects your operation's own language and conventions, not a generic default palette.

&#x20;Whether you're distinguishing between multiple planned states, flagging specific fault conditions, or aligning TilliT's visual language with your existing site standards, configurable status colours give you the flexibility to make the interface work for your team, not the other way around.
