# Activity class

### Overview

Activity classes are simply used to group your activity templates.

This is completely up to your needs to create an Activity Class structure that makes sense to you.

### Creating an Activity Class

Go to **Settings > Activity Template > Activity Class > Create**; you will be presented with a pop-up.

### Fields

| Name    | Description             |
| ------- | ----------------------- |
| Name \* | Name of the class/group |

Click the ***Save and close***\*\* \*\* button to finalise.

### Adding an Activity Class for new Activities

When creating a new activity, this new activity class can be selected in the Basic Information page

### Adding an Activity Class for existing Activities

You can also assign edit the Activity Class on existing activity templates, by opening one up and clicking the Edit template button to bring the Basic Information page up
