Material group

A material group can be a category of raw materials, or a category of finished products.

Overview

The grouping is usually based on the material classification. For example, if you produce multiple products for a client, such as Tesco, you might want to group these together.

Once set, you can use this class to assign an Material Group to an activity in the Where clause.

Creating a new Material Group

Go to Settings > Material Definition > Material Groups > Create

Fields

Name	Description
Name *	Here you will input the name of the group. This is mandatory.
Display Order	Defines the order sequence for the group in the item list.

Click the Save and close button to finalise.
