Manually starting

Once the Activity Template is available, users can start an activity anytime within the operation cycle. This function is available in the UI header.

To start an activity, click the Create button then;

1. Select Start Activity in the selection list

2. Select the Asset where the activity will be used or executed

3. Select the Running Order in the order list

4. Select the appropriate Activity to trigger. Note that the activity selection list is filtered and only shows activities defined for the selected asset

5. Click Confirm to finalise the selection

Note:

For users to start any activities, a pre-requisite step of activity definition should be completed first by the admin.

Here, the admin builds the activity and the required items that the user needs to perform. For the details on how to prepare please check the Activity Templates article.
