Overview

Calendars are used to set up shifts against an asset.

Creating a Calendar

To create a Calendar, go to Settings > Asset Hierarchy > Calendars.

Click Create.

Fill in the required fields.

Click the Save and open button.

Now you need to create a Calendar Item to assign it to specific days of the week and define its validity period.

Name *	The name of the calendar

Assigning a Calendar to an Asset

To make use of your shift patterns, you need to assign your calendar to the desired asset.

Navigate to Settings > Asset Hierarchy > Assets. Then select the relevant Asset, locate the Basic Information panel.

Click on the Calendar field.

From the dropdown list, select the desired Calendar for the Asset.

When you assign a calendar to an asset, TilliT automatically checks whether a shift would currently be running based on the calendar configuration. If a shift is active at that moment, it starts immediately — you do not need to wait for the next scheduled occurrence.

This provides instant feedback so you can confirm your calendar configuration is working as expected right away.
