Common Data Sources
Create a Data Source
Ensure TilliT Edge is onboarded and online.
Go to the Edge Data Sources panel in the Edge's expanded information.
Click the Create button to open the configuration pop-up window.
Click Save and close to finalize the setup.
Verify the connection:
Be sure to press the Publish Configuration button for the Edge.
Check the Connected checkbox. A tick will appear once the edge is connected to the data source.
The connection status updates every 60 seconds.
Fields
Name
A name for the data source.
Datasource Type
The protocol TilliT will use to communicate with the data source
OPC_UA server (recommended)
Direct PLC connection via PROFINET, MODBUS, or RevPi Module
Simulator (for testing, training, or demos without a data source)
Endpoint
The data source address.
