# Start an Order

### Ready and Start Order

Navigate to **Orders.**

Assuming that the previous steps were completed successfully, you should now be able to see the Order we created in the list. Click on the Order to access its details.

Take note of the Activities Details i.e. Activities open , skipped , non-conforming

Let's ready the order - click the **Ready Order** button and then click **Ready**

Next let's start the order - click **Start Order** button and then click **Start**

The order status will change to **Running** and 1 Activity should now be open.

Click on the Activities card to reveal the Activities column. You should see the **Pre Start Check** Activity in the list.

### Claim and complete Activity

On the activity click **Claim**. This will change the Activity status to claimed with the details of who claimed it ,when it was claimed etc.

Click Pass on the activity card to indicate that the activity step has passed. Then click **Submit**.

:tada: Congratulations you have now completed your first activity on TilliT.

### Recap

* In the Setup section, we added an asset and a material, and then set up an order with the asset and material we had created.
* In the Orders section, we initiated the order and added order details like the Order Number and Target Quantity.
* We then proceeded to create an activity called "Pre start up check" that would be triggered at the start of the order.
* The activity had a pass/fail element that the operator would have to acknowledge.

This is a basic example of how you can use TilliT to manage orders, activities, assets, and materials. By utilising these features, you can streamline your business processes and ensure that everything runs efficiently.
