Common Data Sources

1. Ensure TilliT Edge is onboarded and online.

2. Go to the Edge Data Sources panel in the Edge's expanded information.

   

1. Click the Create button to open the configuration pop-up window.

Name	Description
Name	A name for the data source.
Datasource Type	The protocol TilliT will use to comminicate with the data source OPC_UA server (recommended) Direct PLC connection via PROFINET, MODBUS, or RevPi Module Simulator (for testing, training, or demos without a data source)
Endpoint	The data source address.
Option	Advanced networking options

1. Click Save and Open to finalize the setup.

2. Verify the connection:

   • Check the Connected checkbox. A tick will appear once the edge is connected to the data source.

   • The connection status updates every 60 seconds.
