Order template
Overview
Order templates are a useful feature that allows you to create many orders from a single order. This is helpful when scheduling one-to-many production, such as when one work order contains multiple assets.
To create an order template, you define parameters that must be met before a new order is created and then set rules for the quantity and time modifiers.
For example, if your production line produces cartons of beer containing 12 bottles each, you can use order templates to create two records with different "To Assets" and variable quantity set to 12 for the Filler and 1 for the Packer.
Creating a new Order Template
Go to Settings > Configuration > Order Template > Create
You will be presented with a pop-up.

Order Template Components
By default all Operations created by the Order Template do not have any Order Components. Order Template Components can be used to specify which Material or Material Groups will be duplicated to that Operation.
Example: let's say a winery has a base order for a particular wine that includes labels and bottles in the Order Components. They want to set up an order template that includes a "Labeller" operation that will be responsible for applying the labels to the bottles.
To achieve this, they can add an Order Template Component for the "Labeller" Operation and add a Template Component using the Material Group of "Labels". When the order is created using this template, only the labels will be copied over to the "Labeller" operation, which can now be used on an Component Check by the operators to confirm the correct label is being used.
