# Data Templates

## Creating a Data Template

Click on "Data Templates" in the side bar.

Then click on the + button and enter a name for the data template.

## Setting up the Data Template

Hover the data template you want to set up and click on the Edit icon.

From there your side bar should be expanded with different sections necessary to set up your data template.

### Once created, Data Templates can be:

* **Edited** - by clicking on the edit icon, you will enter the main configuration screens
* **Cloned** - copying a previous data template into a new version
* **Downloaded** - exporting the data template files which creates a standard set of .csv files.

Now that you created your data template, now you need to configure it with specific data models for the scenatios to work correctly.
